Look for Less- Studded Loafers

I have been coveting these Jimmy Choo studded loafers. Unfortunately, at $650, the reality of buying them was comical.

Then, I found these from Hallelu Boutique.

And they were only $32. So I bought them. (I want to be an intimidating teacher.) I also wore them to a doctor's appointment yesterday, which really confused Husband on what message I wanted to send. They are really comfortable. They run a little big, so I would order a 1/2 size down.

Deal of the Day- Summer Sandal

One thing I lucked out on is that I have short feet. They are wide, but still short- think squares. So when summer rolls around, I tend to look in the children's section because they are a.)cheaper and b.) less likely to be on everyone else's foot.

I was super excited when I found these at Target for $14.99. Grabbed a size 5 (normally I am a 7 in women's shoes) and they fit perfectly!

I was even more excited when they rang up for $11.99. Thinking of purchasing the fun pink as well!

The Webster at Target

I never want to take being pregnant for granted. I know that this baby is a wonderful gift and miracle, and I am blessed beyond measure to have had such an easy pregnancy.

BUT...I think this baby is about to fall out of my butt. Shim is taking the expression "Get Low" to a whole new meaning.

Onto more fashionable types of things- Have you been in Target lately? Of course you have! And I am sure you have seen all of the "Shops at Target" signs. And while Lucy and Winnie have been drooling over the idea of Polka Dog, I am drooling over the Webster- originally based out of Miami.

My top three picks?

(Sorry so small and grainy)
Obsessed with all things baby

So Good

Oh, Missoni clogs, how I long for you for spring. I would pair you with skirts and jeans galore. I appreciate your high heel that I am sure would make my cankles appear smaller. Now I just need the BOE to give me an 80% 180% raise so I can afford your $635 price tag.

I love you, Lindsey

Look for Less- Quilted Boots

While looking through some of my favorite gossip sites (sad, I know), I fell in love with these outfit Reese Witherspoon wore out while antique shopping. Almost everyone adores Reese's laid-back, California style, and I too can really appreciate a more casual ensemble. (Getting on the floor with first graders while in a straight skirt can pose a problem.)

But what really had me, were her flat, quilted boots.

I found these similar Sperry Top-Sider "Hingham" Rain Boots at Bloomingdale's. I think they are precious and perfect for dreary rainy/snowy weather. Best part, the are under $100. Hello Christmas List!

Old Navy?

When I think about Old Navy, fashion is sometimes not the first word that comes into my head. Instead, I think of annoying jingles and fleece.

However, my mind was changes when I visited my local Old Navy store after my friend, Bethany, posted about these boots and the fact that they were only $25! I found so much other stuff that I LOVED! And guess what, it didn't break the bank!!

Can you believe those prices? Go splurge!

Alexander Wang Tassle Pumps=Not In This LifeTime

Refinery29 featured these lovelies in their Shoe Stalking Spring '12 Fashion Week Edition...

I was in love.

And then I saw this.

That's a $650 price tag.
Sigh. I couldn't even find similar knock-offs.

Shake Your Fringe Thing

I am proud to say I have survived two days of my class. Unfortunately, I have had to cancel all night time plans due to homework....boooo.

Just because I am in class from 8-4:30 (yep, that's right) doesn't mean that I don't check my news sources: People, E!Online, and US Weekly. (I am so worldly.)

As I scrolled through US Weekly, I found myself looking at photos from the MTV Movie Awards. And then there was Amanda Bynes. I am not a fan of her acting (didn't she "retire"?) nor am I fan of that dress on her, but MAN, I love her shoes!

How fun are those? Now I know, they are a bit over the top and taste specific, but fringe is so fun for summer. So go grab some fringe shoes (heels or flats!) and go shake your fringe thing!

Friday's Deal of the Day

I recieved a complaint that nobody cares about the last day of school...sigh.

So....Friday's Deal of the Day!!

Great wedges are a staple for summer. They give you height (yells the barely 5'4" girl) without making you feel like you are standing on a crochet needle. You can wear them from day to night. Wedges go with everything too. Throw them on with shorts, a skirt, dress, skinnies, whatever!

Now feast your eyes on these...

Great Deal!

I love my Reebok EasyTone shoes. They are my favs for walks, because they actually work! (Disclaimer: I would not suggest running a 1/2 marathon or climbing Mt. Yonah in these shoes.) I also appreciate how they don't look like Moon Shoes.

Cinco de Mayo

"No Time to Siesta, Nacho Average Fiesta"- Pi Phi Cinco de Mayo Party T-Shirt 2007

Oh, you didn't know, Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorite holidays. Why, you may ask? Well,
  • Hello!?! Mexico is our neighbor to the South!
  • An excuse to eat twice as much chips and salsa as I normally do
  • I feel completely okay speaking "Lindsey-Spanish" all day/night
  • Cinco 2010 coined the phrase "I gotta upload this and show Mom I made friends"
  • Same year- a new friend, Pacho, was born. What a chatterbox.
  • Definitely an excuse to buy a new outfit
