I Love My Weekends

Don't you?

I had one of those perfect weekends. It was a perfect mixture of rest, fun, and actually putting a dent in my to-do list.

On Friday night, Husband and I babysat this little guy.

He was such a fantastic kid. He never cried- not even when his mom left, when we had to come in from our walk, bedtime, never. (I told Husband that there was no way our kid would ever be close to being that good.)

Saturday, I decided to celebrate a little St. Patty's at our friend, Will's. (Only slightly bummed that I did not get to participate in the intense dodgeball game.) We left at 6:30, got home and slept until 8:00 the next morning!!! UH-mazing!

On Sunday came church, an intense cleaning of the house, and finally finding the perfect shade of gilver for Jammer's dresser.

Weekend=Success...How was yours?

Shopaholics Recycle

As I venture out to my first children's consignment sale tonight (for a child who's gender remains a mystery), I am intrigued by the "second time around" idea. I have found in my day some great deals for myself at my local Goodwill, but I just can't do the things that look like they are on their second time around (or third or fourth.)

Shopaholics Recycle takes care of this. Long story short, Katrina Weber and Elizabeth Ramirez started this company as a way to clean out their very fashionable, high-end closets, including many items that still had price tags attached to them. Shopaholics Recycle has some great deals, and I love how up-to-date they keep the site. I am eyeing many pieces- look at these deals!

Motivation Monday- Hello Daylight Savings

You're speaking to me!

This daylight savings thing has me all messed up. I tried going to bed early..only to stay up until 12:30 thinking of all the things I should have done on those workdays I had on Thursday and Friday. Typical.

This week is going to be a bit crazy, so I doubt daily blog posts will be made. Why so crazy? Field Trip. 5th Graders. Zoo. Help. Me.
